Family Concert II Play Nice with Others! Sunday, March 28, 2010 3 p.m. · Adults: $8 · Children/ seniors: $5 A program designed to feature the various sections of the symphony orchestra, and how they work and play together in harmony, featuring Claflin Hill’s awesome tuba player, Mr. Chip Halt, in “Tubby the Tuba.” Additional support from Southwick's Zoo, Bright Insurance Agency and The Milford Rotary.
Family Concert I Myths and Legends Sunday, January 17, 2010 3 p.m. · Adults: $8 · Children/ seniors: $5 Featuring music highlighting timeless fables and stories from our childhood and beyond, including music from The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Jacques Offenbach’s “Orpheus in the Underworld” with its famous “Can-Can Dance,” Aaron Copland’s “Billy the Kid” and more. Designed as an introduction and primer, Family Symphony concerts are perfect for folks with young children, seniors who enjoy an afternoon of great music and all others seeking to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of classical music.
