The Daniels Farmstead Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the preservation and upkeep of the Daniels Farmstead at 286 Mendon Street Blackstone, will offer a unique Independence Day Summer Concert at the venerable c1700's site.

 

The Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra of Milford will present a program of patriotic and lively old favorite music on Saturday evening, July 7, from 7:00-9:30PM. Concertgoers are urged to bring a blanket, chairs, and picnic fare to this first ever gala family alfresco entertainment at the farmstead. Members and friends of the Foundation will staff a refreshment kiosk at the event.

 

President Justine Southwick Brewer said that she and members of the Foundation are delighted at the opportunity to make available this family event in response to the strong support of so many loyal followers from

Blackstone and surrounding communities. She stressed that their interest has been unwavering.

This gala could not have come about without the significant assistance of American National Power Operations Company of Blackstone has stepped forward to demonstrate its keen interest in the communities it serve.
